On Friday, I went to my mom's house for the day because she called me and said she "needed" me to come up. She was watching my brother's two-year old and 6-month old twins. So I left and got up there right after I dropped Kaymin off to school. A little later my sister showed up in a frantic state and told her that she could bring her baby home. Now my sister's baby is now 5 weeks old, but if my sister was still pregnant she would only be 36 weeks along. Ruth now weighs 4 1/2 pounds, but is doing so well that her and my brother-in-law needed to come to the hospital to take some classes to take her home. So she dropped off her 2-year old. There were 7 kids at my mom's house.....two 5-year olds, three 2-year olds, and two 6-month olds. Needless to say it was crazy. I mostly sat and held the babies as my mom entertained and waited on the other kids. I was really glad I could go and help her although by me being there it was 3 extra kids.
Friday night, Ruth had some problems with sleep apnea that she hadn't had before. She stopped breathing in her sleep and her heart rate plummeted so they had to do CPR to resuscitate her. The doctors told her that if she would have been home she would have died. So they couldn't take her home on Saturday. My sister was completely bummed.
