Blake has been wanting to get into shape. He was talking to his brothers and all of them were talking about P90X. So Blake went out and bought it and decided to start last Tuesday. Since we rarely ever do anything together I thought I would join him in doing this workout routine. I really enjoy working out so I thought it would be fun to do it together. Boy was I wrong! This thing is SO hard. It is killing me. You workout 6 days a week for 60 to 90 minutes and you have to do it for 90 days. On top of it all you go on a diet. During the first 30 days you eat more protein to shed fat and build muscle. You also eat a lot of vegetables and basically stuff off of the food pyramid and they slowly bring you to eat the right
quantities while teaching you portion sizes. I really love meat but this is killing me. I really also love fruit, but I can only have one fruit serving a day. So far I have lost 4 pounds and an inch off of my waist and hips. I guess it is working, but I feel so sore and tired. I am sure glad that the program is only 90 days. I will have to keep all of you posted.
