Okay, I have to start out by telling a little bit about how Kameni came to be. Once we had Kaymin we were unsuccessful getting pregnant. I did get pregnant in 2003 and had a miscarriage and knew then we were suppose to adopt. So we went ahead with the adoption paperwork. In the meantime it was time to have another laproscopy to burn off my endometreosis. When I had the procedure done my doctor recommended me doing Clomid since my chance of getting pregnant was greater for the next 3 months. Clomid would increase the number of eggs I would drop, therefore increasing my chances of getting pregnant. Of course I went ahead with it.

Every month I took the pills days 4-8 and went in around day 14 to get checked out. On my 3rd month I went in and found out I dropped 3 eggs and found out about Deilen. I stressed out the rest of the month and sure enough I was pregnant. I took 3 tests just to make sure. I told Blake and we decided to not tell anyone just any case I miscarried again.

That same day Kaymin came to me and told me that we needed lots of cribs because we are going to have lots of babies. I asked why she would say that and she told me that she just knows we are going to have lots of babies.

That following Sunday Kaymin told everyone I was going to have a baby girl. I kept telling everyone she was just confused because we just found out we were going to get a baby boy. Then she would correct me and tell me that she was getting a baby brother and baby sister and her baby sister was in my tummy.

Well she was right and she knew it. Kameni was born on May 27, 2005 at 1:50pm at McKay Dee Hospital. She weighed 8 pounds 3 ounces and was 21 inches long. I was induced and was suppose to have her on May 26, but the hospital was full. They kept putting us off coming in until the afternoon where they called and said it wouldn't happen that day. The ended up giving us a $25 gift certificate to Chilis as their way of saying "sorry".

I was originally due on May 31 but because Kaymin was so big they wanted to take me early. My delivery with her was so easy. I didn't tear and didn't even need one stitch. Because I had pushed 3 hours with Kaymin, once I was at a 10 they had me start pushing.

Then the nurse yelled at me to stop and she yelled down the hall for Julia Johannson, my doctor. She came running in as two nurses held up her apron and I pushed once more and out she came.

She had the grumpiest look on her face. They called her the grumpy baby.

Now she is 4 and I can't believe it. All she wanted for her birthday is to swim in her "new" pool.

She invited the neighbor kids over (but I think it was Kaymin since most of them were her age) and I didn't even know up but it was fun anyway. I felt bad because some of the kids brought presents and it wasn't even a party. I didn't do cake for them or anything...I just let them swim.

We went to dinner at McDonalds and then came back for her mermaid ice cream cake. It was a really fun day and the kids had a lot of fun. Happy Birthday, Kameni!

Those pics are so perfect. I love the ones with Kameni and Kamin, and the one with you whole family is so cute...you look so good there, and especially after just having a baby :)
Cute cake! I wish more people would do simple parties like this. The kids are just as happy!
