Movie Night

I would love one of those projectors if they weren't so darn expensive.  So I opted to buy a 19 or possibly a 21 inch television from my neighbor's garage sale.  It even has a built in VCR player.  It has been the best investment.  Beginning in May, a couple of times a week my kids have movie night outside.  The neighbor kids are invited and my kids pick movies.  Sometimes they are on VHS (yes, we still have ours) and other times they are DVDs and it just so happened we had a DVD player that wasn't being used.  I pop a bunch of popcorn and put it in a plastic bucket and the kids sit outside a watch a movie once it starts getting dark.  Almost everyday the neighbor kids ask if we are having movie night tonight.  It has been a lot of fun.  As a parent I love having it outside because all of the kids are outside and my house is somewhat quiet.  The bad thing is setting it up and taking it down and having now the word get out and movie night keeps getting more and more kids coming.  I don't know what I have started.
