This year has been a very exciting, yet eventful year for us. The highlights are as follows:
January
Deilen turned 3
Blake got braces
We celebrated our 12th wedding anniversary
March
We started the process of redoing our entire backyard
April
Found out about Gerrit
Began our adoption process
May
Gerrit was born making us a family of six
Bought a minivan
Kameni turned 3
Kaymin finished 1st grade
July
We took a family trip to Torrey, Utah to Capital Reef National Park
August
Deilen had his 2nd eye surgery
Kaymin started 2nd grade
September
Kaymin turned 8 and got her ears pierced
Gerrit started rolling over
I canned like a crazy lady (a couple hundred bottles)
Finally finished up our backyard...well at least what we wanted to do this year
October
Kaymin was baptized
I had my ablation
Gerrit started eating solids
November
Gerrit's adoption was finalized
We went to the temple as a family to have Gerrit sealed to us
December
Gerrit's blessing
Gerrit is sitting up
Gerrit diagnosed with asthmaOf course Christmas and all of the holiday cheer and family time
All in all it has been such a great year. I am excited for a new year and looking forward to having fun as a family. Wow...time just flies when you are having fun...or at least trying to.

Your so good at this blogging stuff and keeping up. Just read your last few blogs. I loved the plastic pants picture. That is priceless. Hope your 2009 is as good as 2008 sounded!!
