New Family Pic

I meant to put a blurb about this new family picture at the top of our blog, but hey I am a little slow. My wonderful sister-in-law took this for me at Blake's brother's wedding two weeks ago. Being brain dead as I am, I forgot my camera. Ryan married Chelsea on October 25th and Blake was one of the guys in the line. Okay you guys know me, I am not much for wedding formality. Heck, I didn't even want a reception, but my mom made me do an open house, which now I am glad that we did. Anyhow, Chelsea wanted us all in black and white. I luckily had suits for the boys due to my sister's wedding 3 years ago. Gerrit wore Deilen's suit and Deilen wore a suit that my mom bought that was too small for one of my nephews so she gave it to me. My girls wore dresses for another one of Blake's brother's wedding (Eric and Jill) in March. So we were set, except for me. Luckily I found this dress on my favorite website...pinching your pennies. It was only $11 shipped. Blake says I look like a judge in it, but hey it was cheap and it is very comfortable. A friend of mine was telling me I could get a killer deal for a simple, black dress for around $70 in the mall. ARE YOU KIDDING ME???? I think $11 is a killer deal, $70 is like robbery. Apparently we do not shop at the same stores. Since we were all in black and white and Blake was looking sexy in his tux, I decided to have someone take our family picture. That only works if you remember your camera. That is where my sister-in-law, Sara, saved me. It turned out so cute that I had to add it to our background. Thanks again Sara....I owe you one!!!!
