Yesterday Deilen and Kameni started their first day of preschool at Kountry Kids. They have been begging me forever it seems of the day when they will start. I was nervous for Kameni, wondering if she would actually go without me or not, but she did. 
I didn't have any hesitation for Deilen, he already thinks he is 7. 
Teacher Vicki told Kameni that her friend, Rylee, was already there and Kameni got so excited and told her that Rylee is her bestest friend ever! Deilen is able to write his name, but Kameni won't even try. 
She tells me she is too little. She won't even try to write her letters...at all, but she knows almost all of the letters and their sounds. Yesterday at preschool they learned about the letter "A". They had to practice writing it and Kameni did it and it looked great. Deilen's, of course, looked great since he loves to try to write all of the letters. They made little mirrors that they are suppose to look into and say, "there is only one me and I am special." 
I just love Vicki, their teacher and I'm so glad that they love preschool.
