Deilen's Rash

Well, I took Deilen into the doctor today. His rash is worse today than yesterday and has spread to his neck, shoulders, back and wrists. The poor kid's face is swollen like a balloon and is beet red. The doctor agreed that it is from a chemical reaction to something...which has to be the hair gel. He even looked in his ears for me and he does have some fluid, but he thinks it will clear up on it's own. They also took a culture from his tonsils just make sure he doesn't have strep. The rapid test came back negative and I hope the lab test does as well. He gave me a steroid prescription to rub on him twice a day and it should get rid of it. I hope it really does. I've already washed all of his bedding and his favorite blanket. I think this week has been a record for us. Three separate trips to the doctor. I wasn't lying when I said that I give my doctor job security.
