Planting Already

Alright, last year I went a little crazy canning and I am quite excited to do it again this year. In fact I decided to do some research on the Internet about starting an indoor greenhouse. So I went to Wal-mart, my home away from home, and bought the shop light, bulbs, seeds, and dirt. Since I thought about doing this last year, I saved my containers that I bought my plants and flowers in so I had something to plant them in. On Saturday I began the planting. I got a little carried away and planted 110 tomato plants and 40 green pepper plants. My mom and sister were excited since I have enough to share with them now. I didn't plant everything I wanted to. I ran out of containers. So I guess I will use soup cans or something. I still want to plant some pumpkins (regular and giant), watermelon, and hot peppers. Blake hung the light from our basement ceiling and it has to be on for 12-18 hours per day so it is ran off of a timer. Then until the seeds poke through the soil, it has to be covered with plastic wrap. They are suppose to sprout within 5 to 10 days. Then every 2 to 5 days you water them with a dropper. So far it hasn't been bad, but then again it has only been 3 days. So I guess we'll see how it goes. But I am very excited.

Wow, I'm excited to see how it all turns out! Way to go! That just looks and seems way to stressful and way too much work for me!
